Proyecto Público — Prim Garden
PRIM Garden adjoins General Prim in Colonia Juárez, its near twin from the street, inaugurated in 1906 as an upper-middle-class apartment building. Proyectos Públicos took it on in 2013 and added its defining feature, a fifty-meter gabled roof by the firm Productora, drawn low and light over the building's three courtyards. The result holds two registers at once, preserved Porfiriato stone below and a contemporary intervention above, across a space that now mixes work, food and celebration.
