Proyecto Público — General Prim
General Prim is a 1905 house in Colonia Juárez, built by the engineer Alberto Robles Gil during the Porfiriato, an era whose grand homes hosted the political agreements and balls of the day. Its restoration left the long history visible: a palimpsest of colors and materials, soaring ceilings, courtyards and staircases that hold what its restorers call the poetry of ruin. A greenhouse by the architect Alberto Kalach crowns the roof, the single thread to the present.
