Piedra Viva
Piedra Viva sits low in the Tepoztlán valley, forty-five minutes from Mexico City, with the rock walls of the Tepozteco framing it on every side. The grounds are built as botanical corners, planted, shaded, deliberately wild at the edges, around a boutique hotel with a spa. The mountain does the heavy work here. It stands over the valley, and the venue simply opens itself toward it.
