Museo Casa de la Bola
The Museo Casa de la Bola occupies a viceregal house in Tacubaya, once a village on the western edge of Mexico City and now folded into it. Antonio Haghenbeck made the house his home in 1942 and filled it with furniture, sculpture, painting and tapestry. He also rebuilt its gardens: stone walks, fountains, colonial fragments and three surviving ponds. Events held here support the foundation that keeps the house, so a celebration becomes part of its conservation.
