Instituto Allende

VenueSan Miguel de Allende

The Instituto Allende occupies the eighteenth-century manor of Manuel Tomás de la Canal, in the historic center of San Miguel de Allende. Construction began in 1735, which makes the building among the oldest in the town. Since 1951 it has run as an art school, and its colonial courtyards and frescoed walls have served as the backdrop for weddings and films for just as long. San Miguel's history held in a single set of walls, a few minutes' walk from everything.
