Hotel Escondido
Escondido Oaxaca is Grupo Habita's hotel in the center of Oaxaca City, a restored casona crossed with a contemporary tower behind it. The old house holds the restaurant, a reading and co-working room, the main patio and four rooms. The new tower adds eight more, plus a rooftop pool and a quiet solarium. The project honors the city's craft tradition, treating the hotel itself as a piece of design and the artisans' savoir-faire as its material.
