Hacienda Tovares
Hacienda Tovares was built in 1640 by the captain Alonso de Tovar y Guzmán, on the ground where the civil act that founded Cadereyta de Montes took place: four centuries of Querétaro history on a single estate. Restored across fifty-two hectares of semi-desert, it keeps a working equestrian life, with bullring Saturdays and a country kitchen. The landscape is the high Querétaro scrub, dry and wide and quiet.
