Hacienda San Pedro Ochil

VenueMérida

San Pedro Ochil is a late-nineteenth-century henequen hacienda in the Yucatán scrub south of Mérida, restored and run as a venue within the Catherwood collection. A long avenue of palms leads in past the hacienda's original chimney. At the heart of the grounds an open-air amphitheater opens onto a cenote, the limestone pool ringed by jungle. The estate keeps the texture of the henequen era: stone, shade, and the slow Yucatán quiet.
