Hacienda San José Lavista
San José Lavista stands on a hillside above San Miguel de Allende, the town's lights and the Presa Allende reservoir spread out below. It's built in the hacienda idiom, stone, gardens, a small winery, but the estate is recent, conceived from scratch in 2010 as a place to gather. The elevation does much of the work, turning every evening toward the water and the lit town beyond.
