Renaissance Wedding Inspiration: A Classy and Modern Styled Shoot

Renaissance Wedding Inspiration: A Classy and Modern Styled Shoot

Ready to fall in love? You're gonna love this editorial session.

If inspiration is truly everywhere, this editorial is the perfect proof to believe in that premise. This time we travel to Berlin with the wonderful photographs of The Saums and the charming surroundings of Herrenhaus-Vogelsang, a venue that, within seconds, transports you to those Marie Antoinette scenarios. The result is a very interesting mix of a feminine aesthetic with antique touches, subtle colors, textures and lots of movement; an editorial that focuses on fashion, without neglecting the unique ideas to design a wedding with a personalized taste and full of beautiful details. You will love all the images.

The wedding planners of IDO Events were given the task of designing this photo shoot inspired by the new glamour that alternative brides are looking for, a production that plays with the new definitions of luxury and finds in them more reasons to create dreamy environments. The complete setting of this antique house manages to mark an extraordinary contrast between the period finishes and those with a modern spirit; large windows, chandeliers, wooden floors and a play of light with which the glassware and candles manage to create a contemporary and lively effect.

This renaissance inspiration is seduced by the best of the era, but also adds on-trend details: a midi wedding dress with a plunging neckline and the romance of lace embroidery, as well as a fantasy piece where the volumes of a wide skirt and the unmissable tulle veil do their part to recreate a nostalgic, elegant and timeless aesthetic. Both dresses, created by Annika Maria, show respect for the opulence of the era and, with the help of makeup and hairstyle master Isabel Plett, the textures and effortless style made the union between classic and modern even more exceptional.

The decor simply could not be left out of the picture, therefore soft colors and earth tones were chosen to accompany the ivory and pale gray accents used in the textiles and the floral design executed by Katya Stavitskaya. An avant garde effect, added to the charm of the story and the prominence of lace.

An ideal editorial session to fall in love, find inspiration and let yourself be carried away by the Renaissance style combined with the modern effect of today.
